"Based on an experience many years ago, I vowed to never do a Real Estate purchase deal again with the listing agent, there are too many areas for conflict to occur. In this case, we phoned the listing brokerage to look at a listed home and it turned out that Jill Lange was the showing agent. Her husband, Michael was the listing agent. I guess I was showing some concern as JiIl brought the subject up and addressed it directly. She assured us that she would be our agent and would not be conflicted simply because her husband was representing the seller. I understand that those words needed to be said, but more important is what is actually done and not what is said. We made an offer and there was a reasonable negotiation. "My Fiancé and I met Michael Lange by chance when we called him on a Sunday about a house we were interested in. We had taken a flyer from a property and we were leaving town in just a few hours. Michael and his lovely wife Jill met us after church on a Sunday and showed us the home.
