OUR COMMUNITIES
We are blessed to call Brookings our home and to be able to work in one of the most beautiful places on the earth!
BROOKINGS
Brookings and Harbor are the most southern beach communities in Oregon, located directly north of the Oregon/California state line. Joined at the mouth of the Chetco River, these quaint and modest Pacific towns are known for their moderate climate and unique weather. Traditionally, when the Pacific Northwest may be covered with clouds and fog, Brookings/Harbor will be sunny and warm with very pleasant, temperate summer weather. This is why Brookings is known as the Banana Belt of Oregon. Winter temperatures range between the 50s & 60s at night, rarely dipping below 40. Whether it’s fishing, kayaking, whale watching, storm watching, hiking or surfing, Brookings/Harbor affords outdoor enthusiasts and those who find harmony with the mountains and ocean and endless spectrum of activities and landscape to enjoy. Leave the mundane, the malls, and the traffic all behind! It’s time to make Brookings, Oregon your retreat from the world.

PORT ORFORD
Port Orford is a small, artistic fishing town on the Southern Oregon coast where the mountains and the forests meet the ocean. It’s the oldest platted town site on the Oregon coast, and the most westerly city in the continental U.S. Located halfway between Bandon and Gold Beach, you’ll find everything you’re looking for in small town living, from spectacular seascapes and mountain hiking trails with panoramic vistas, to modern art galleries. Port Orford also plays host to ocean, lake, and river fishing, boating and kayaking, and absolutely perfect wind sailing conditions. There’s a difference here…you don’t have to push you way through traffic jams or clogged sidewalks to enjoy all life has to offer.
